There are plenty of situations in life that are less than ideal. Some things may be harder than you expected, and things may not go as you were anticipating. I have been thinking a lot about what gets me through stress inducing situations, and I owe it all to having faith in God's plan.
There have been things in my life that have distanced me from my faith at certain moments, and those moments correlate with very anxious and unfulfilled parts of my life. I felt like my prayers were becoming meaningless when I was trying to manifest or affirm, whatever it was, the next second. I may have felt like it was working, but in all reality God was blessing me and I could not acknowledge it, since I was so wrapped up in the idea of bringing the things I wanted to happen into fruition. Being completely candid on here, I had to surrender to God for real.
I fully believe that God has a plan for me, that is beyond my understanding. I do not need others to always understand me. Life is difficult at moments so we can enjoy the good times and achievements.
Of course I get temporarily stressed out during an adrenaline rush while working, or when I have wayyyyy too many tasks to get done. But in general, I am content with my life because I have my full trust in God. When I care about something, I stay disciplined and understand that it is not always so easy. When you make a commitment, you have a level of responsibility to live up to. Knowing when to rest has helped me in life, as well. It's been a balancing act and sort of a healing process as well - learning how to be disciplined but not brutal on myself at the same time.
And as far as making big decisions, I pray about them. I make decisions for myself, without needing others to understand them. Sometimes feeling overwhelmed can be resolved by getting started and working on one task at a time. It's better than dwelling about how much you have to get done and never doing it.
Fall in love with your beautiful life and be grateful for it all the time.
- much love, Suzan J
