| Pacific Coast Highway |
Taking place in the cold month of February, my birthday is usually a time where I am just craving warmer weather. For my sixteenth birthday, my family and I could not think of a better place to spend it than sunny California. I wasn't thinking there would be super high temperatures, but I was not expecting rain! Los Angeles was going through rare storm weather, which caused us to alter our agenda just a bit. We were forced to spend the first day indoors, but that was perfectly fine with me. We fetched In N Out to eat, and drove down to Burbank later in the day, so I could get my birthday nails done at Modern Pamper Salon. I was so happy with the way they came out. I was welcomed with amazing service, and most importantly, a beautiful acrylic set. On the second day of our trip, we headed to Santa Barbara. The scenic drive on the Pacific Coast highway must have been my favorite part. We walked through down town to the water, and although the weather was overcast, we still experienced Santa Barbara’s ocean side charm. During our last day, the weather was much warmer, so we headed to Santa Monica. It was so nice to visit places that I fell in love with a few years ago, as well as discover new favorites. I definitely will be heading back to the West Coast when I can!
